Plant Identification Walk

Service Description

Do you have a group of friends who want to learn how to identify our local flora? Or....Do you want to learn more about the plants on your property? Invite Angela to come along for a plant identification and foraging walk. Typically lasting about 3 hours, Angela will lead you and / or your group on a hike and talk about the plants, teach you how to identify them and how to use them. You will also learn how to sustainably harvest plants for edible and medicinal use. Each person will receive a document detailing the plants we will be interacting with. Angela will also provide an herbal tea, made with many of the plants that we will see, to enjoy before and after the class. The hike / walk can take place in an area that meets your hiking skill level. We can meet in town or on a trail near Livingston. All physical levels can be accommodated. For a group, the price is: $30 / person, minimum $200 Maximum group capacity is 10 people. For a private plant identification, the price is $500 and includes Angela spending time with you and identifying the plants. You will then receive a detailed document with the information about each plant, along with pictures of the plant so you can easily identify it later. The outing and identification may last 2-5 hours, depending on the size of your property.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Any cancellation within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will be charged 50%.
